Recently, I am receiving email messages from "Mail Delivery Subsystem" entitled "Returned Mail: see transcript for details". The messages show various email addresses that had fatal errors. However, I have not sent messages to these recepients.

You need to ask about that in the appropriate support forum for whatever you are using for email. Firefox doesn't do email.
