how can i delete coockies
- 1 In the older Firefox versions I was able to delete coockies under TOOLS but with the new 5.0 version this option is not available.
- 2 The TOOLBAR has been highjacked. How can I make FIREFOX to be the toolbar and prevent it from being highjacked?

On #1, you can display the classic menu bar temporarily by tapping the Alt key or pressing F10. Then you can access the full Tools menu.
To switch from the orange Firefox button (abbreviated menus) back to the classic menu bar, tap the Alt key and use
View menu > Toolbars > check Menu Bar
On #2, I don't know what you mean by hijacked. Can you describe it in more detail?
Hi, Thank you very much for your reply. The Toolbar has been highjacked and instaed of having the usual firefox.com screen I have http://secnet.startnow.com/ and it does work very slow.
Thanks a lot.

Some programs and add-ons will change your home page and the usual way that searching works. I'm not familiar with this particular one, but I found this discussion about it that might help: How do I get rid of startnow toolbar and webpage? | Firefox Support Forum | Firefox Help. Did that work?
It doesn't see, to work on my computer at all, further more I cannot delete the coockies in the new Firefox 5.0

What doesn't work at all?
I cannot delete the coockies
Which method did you try? Tools menu > Clear Recent History?
I tried your suggestion by Pressing the ALT and the F10 key but it does not show anything. Shem
If the Alt key and the F10 key do not display the menu bar, you could be in full screen mode. The F11 key switches between full screen and normal modes.

If all else fails, could you create a new profile and test whether that works normally?
First, I recommend backing up your Firefox settings in case something goes wrong. See Backing up your information. (You can copy your entire Firefox profile folder somewhere outside of the Mozilla folder.)
Next, close Firefox and fire up the profile manager. Click the Windows Start menu > Run, and type or paste the following into the search box and press Enter:
firefox.exe /ProfileManager
Create a new profile, which will be more or less plain vanilla. Does that have a normal interface?
To move key settings like bookmarks from your problem profile to the new profile, see: Recovering important data from an old profile.
