Since I updated Firefox a few days ago no status barappears on my computer. I have a Mac OS X computer, is it possible to reinstate my status on my computer? If not then I will have to go to Safari and not use Firefox any more.

The status bar has been removed in Firefox 5.0.x

To reinstate it, install this add-on: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/status-4-evar/
