Hi mircea_arj,

You should take a look at the Delete browsing, search and download history on Firefox Knowledge Base article for the basics on how Firefox remembers where you've been. You can set custom settings there or tell it to remember for only a brief period of time.

If you are simply talking about Firefox changing colors for links you've already clicked on, then you can go to Tools > Options > Content > Colors and change the color used for visited links.
