In my "tools" I have stored passwords via Firefox. The problem began when I downloaded Norton's Vault. It seems it "took over". Man, long story. My Norton anti-virus wouldn't open, clammed up, shut me out. I deleted Norton, then reinstalled it, still didn't work, so I had to go thru Norton's on line chat and they took care of it (getting my anti-virus back up). I told her to dump the vault because I really didn't like it taking over my firefox stored passwords. To make a longer story short, now that's everything is deleted, my firefox stored passwords don't work. What's a poor girl to do? Help is greatly appreciated. I have spent hours on this computer today trying to right the wrongs I've done.

Hello luchia, if you have the options in Tools > Options > Security > Passwords > check Remember passwords for sites [v], can you see your passwords in Password Manager when you click in Saved Passwords... ? Viewing and deleting passwords

i think you are not using a master password
