how to stop about blank
I can be surfing the net and I get about blank or a new tab opens and redirects to another page. I have run my virus protection and i cant seem to fix it. please help.

Try removing (or at least disable) the following two extensions:
- MyWordTool 0.1
- Value Apps 1.7.0.0
You can configure, disable, and often remove extensions on the Add-ons page. Either:
- Ctrl+Shift+a
- orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons
In the left column, click Extensions.
If the Remove button is missing, usually there is an entry in the Windows Control Panel, Uninstall a Program, to remove it. The name may not be obvious, so it can be useful to click the "Installed on" column heading and look for any surprises.
