When sending an email it take 2-5min from a particular computer and is fine on all other devices

On one computer I have, when I try and send a simple email it takes 2-5min to send. When I log into my email from another computer and do the same thing it is almost instantaneous. There has to be a setting or something that is causing the function to be so slow can you help?
