firefox mobile cannot filter google results by date

more options

I have Firefox mobile installed on my Nexus 4 side by side with Google Chrome browser. When I do a google search in Firefox mobile I cannot filter results by date, but I can in Google Chrome browser.

What am I missing?

Is the feature to filter google results by date missing from mobile firefox browser?

Thank you

It seems to be part of Google's strategy for world domination to withhold some features from other browsers. I don't know whether there is a workaround to force Search Tools to display in Firefox mobile, but you could try the strategy adopted by another user facing a feature deficit and use the Phony extension to lie to sites about what browser you're using.
