When you minimize a window, what do you do to stay on the same website; this used to work but no longer does.

Using a 24" iMac with OSX 10.6.8. and Firefox 35.0.1. When I upgraded to 36.0.4, the ability to stay on the same website vanished when a widow is minimized. How do I get this feature back? I downloaded 35.0.1 again but the feature was still missing. I can't find anything in HELP or PREFERENCES that address this. Thanks!

No matter what, the window or tab should stay the same unless you, or the page script, tell it to change. Minimizing should not do that.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web Link} by holding down the <Shift>
(Mac Options)
key, and then starting Firefox. Is the problem still there?
