Computer crashed, no programs/files were affected except Thunderbird. Where did it go?

The Thunderbird icon disappeared from my start up menu after a computer crash. All my programs were still there after my computer did it's thing, except Thunderbird. Where did my emails go? I had important emails in my sent file that I need to get to.
