when i click a link from any page im on, firefox reloads the page im on instead of going to link. second try, it loads the link i clicked on.

You click a link on the page intending to change the current window to the link? Does the link work properly if you right click on it? Does this happen on one page, many?

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web Link} by holding down the <Shift>
(Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox. Is the problem still there?
