Mozbackup no longer works with Thunderbird versions beyond 38
When I restore my profile (which includes all emails, accounts, addons, settings et al) all of my email accounts do not get restored. Thunderbird itself seems very weird. Has the file structure been changed in version 45? If I reinstall version 38.7.2 and restore with mozbackup everything is fine.

I have Mozbackup. That's what I'm using. Why did you send me the link to Pavel's site?
