how to stop that developer toolbar follows links and events when inpecting an element
When I inspect an element (with the element picker in the toolbar) in Firefox Developer Edition and that element has a javascript action or its an a href then it follows that link. (and that is very annoying because you cannot inspect the element because the page its being redirected to the url of the href).
