I GIVE UP!!! The recenbt versions of Firefox are slow, use 90% of CPU, overheat the CPU, can't play streams, lost passowrds.
I have had it! The current version of Firefox sucks!! Have been with Netscape from the beginning and then Firefox, have participated in the beta programs, but the bull shit answers for issues shows irresponsibility for the product. I've had it. Moving to Opera and Google Chrome. Sorry folks.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} by holding down the <Shift> (Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.
A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?
