Firefox says password must be 8 characters. I put in 8 characters and 1 number, but password box stays red, and won't move forward to accept this password.

I am trying to sign up for notifications for Live Nation concerts series. Says enter password and that it must be at least 8 characters. I put in 8 characters in first and second confirmation boxes, the first box stays highlighted warning red, like I made an error or did not enter enough letters, and it won't move forward. I tried 8 letters and 1 number, still will not accept. Don't know what else to do, I did what it asked. My password was not any of the do not use ones. I even changed my email address to another one, and it did not work.
