I have my home and new tab pages set to about:blank for a reason. Why do i need extra unexpected behaviour other than displaying keyboard when address bar is tapped to center focus on it?

Hi

No problem if you wish to change this behaviour and hopefully i can help.

  1. From the Firefox for Android home screen, tap on the three dot icon.
  2. Select Search and scroll down
  3. Deselect Show search suggestions and Show search history

I hope that this helps.

Ah, thank you for the suggestion, but these options are already deselected.

I expect this is normal behavior now, and something i will simply get used to.
