Thunderbird mail removal and reinstall

I have ThunderBird 78.13. With Comcast Server. New mail from ebay only goes into my Sent Folder not INBOX. All mail from others goes into my INBOX. I have tried for 14 days and many hours to correct this. No one has been able to help fix it. I have finally decided To completely remove TB and all Files/Folders associated with it. And then do a new TB install. My question is. Will I still be able to keep my same email address for the new TB install? Or will I have to change the address? I appreciate any help you can give me.
