This started today, random artifacts can show up on any page, even on an embedded youtube video preview. Browser is up to date, any idea what's causing this?

Ok, scratch the question, now I'm seeing it in firefox and thunderbird itself, and other software. I'm guessing something is dying here. Sorry.
