I still have to go to IE in order to Save Target As on the primary web site where I use this. The Save Link As in Firefox does not allow me to download the files from the web site. I would like to not have to switch to IE every time I need to do a Save Target As. Please advise. Thanks.

Can you post a link? What happens if you try to use Save Link as? Did you try an Alt + left-click?

Today I was asked to solve this bug in IE.There is "save link as" in Firefox but no "save target as" in IE. when right click "save background as " come out but no "save target as". Then I found if there is no background,"save target as" works well. Then I found even if the <a> tag has background but there is no other tags, the "save target as" works well too. I add and without CSS in <a> tag, this time the "save target as" works well too. OK, I found it is the "layout" that make the "save target as" disappear. On our page with the problem the and <em> have the attribute{display:inline-block;} which trigger the layout. expect <a>, other tags in <a> can't have layout. My english is not so good ,so if there is any problem please email to me:lmy.idc0@yahoo.com.cn
