I had the problem really bad this morning: Trusteer Rapport not only crashed both my Safari and my Firefox, but wouldn't let me open System Preferences (on my Mac) to see what was wrong. Luckily, I still had the .dmg file, and when I opened it, I found an uninstall icon. Once I uninstalled it, everything works fine. I'm really angry at my bank for encouraging me to use Rapport.
