when trying to open certain site feature I get message regarding Active X which fails?

The message I get says to open the portion of the website that I need Active X to check settings. When I click continue it tells me Active X failed. I can open site. I can get into the home page, but from there I cannot open appointment manager

under help there is not an option for Report Broken Web Page. The bottom line is whether there is something I can do to make that portion of the web page accessible from Firefox?
