I always say "yes" when Firefox wants to do an update. I just went to Help - Check for updates. The response was that there were no updates available. Yet apparently I'm running version 3.5.

Why in the world doesn't the app update itself? Am I missing something?

You would think that if a new version was released the app would want to update itself.

Thanks for your thoughts.

The upgrade from 3.6 to 7.0 versions hasn't been turned on yet.

You run the latest Firefox 3.6.x version: Firefox 3.6.23, so there aren't any updates available for that Firefox branch and updates to Firefox 4+ versions (currently Firefox 7.0.1) aren't offered as posted above.
