Before I dispose of this browser forever, can someone explain why Firefox will not allow the current tab to be closed, but instead I am only given the option of closing all tabs. Please, I need a fix if Firefox is going to exit on my computer. I am tired of entertaining this issue every time I go to a webpage. Do not respond if you believe this can be solved by clicking on a red X.

Thanks tomlirvine

Thanks for the responses, but I have solved the problem. It is an X issue they can be explained more thoroughly than has been posted previously. For example: Click on Firefox as your browser. UNDER the menu bar that has File, Edit, View.... there is a line of code that has the tabs you have open. This is where the X's come into play. At the top of each tab there is a small x. Click on that x you want to exit. Do not click on the right corner top red X or you will close all of the tabs.

How foolish of me, but the X's were not explained in detail.
