  1. Right-click an empty area of the tab bar and make sure there's a checkmark next to Bookmarks Toolbar.
  2. Right-click an empty area of the tab bar and choose Customize.
  3. Drag the Home icon onto the Bookmarks Toolbar.
  4. Click the Done button in the Customize Toolbar window when finished.
  5. To place new bookmarks on the Bookmark Toolbar, you can simply drag the icon from the address bar onto it (the icon is usually either a globe or a padlock).
