Hi! I have had a very horrific nightmare experience with Firefox. Yesterday I tried to search something from my browse history. However, I keep everything in my history, it's basically my diary so it occured to me that it would be faster to search if I copy the history to bookmarks and then delete some of it in the bookmarks. So I did just that copied the history to bookmarks, backed it up into a JSON file and deleted some of it. That turned out to be a huge mistake. FIrefox deleted the actual history with the bookmarks!! Well great that I had backed up the bookmarks right? Nope, restoring the bookmarks DID NOTHING! How could this be? Next I tried searching for help from this site. Apparently the "Places.sqlite" file contains the history and is backed up every now and then (thank godness!). So of course I restored that file to it's previous state. I backed it up first although I guess the word doesn't mean what it used to... BAM! After restoration of the backup, ALL my history is gone. I will say it's pretty hard to keep the ugly words inside of me right now. Is there anything I can do to restore my history?
