Opening https://activations.cdn.mozilla.net/en-US/ in order to activate some social service, "Installing Social Services requires at least Firefox version 29. Upgrade your version of Firefox now." is shown. But I just updated to version 30.0. Same thing on https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/new/: "Looks like you’re using an older version of Firefox. ". Screenshots also available.

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.0; rv:7.0.1) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/7.0.1 Facicons

That shows that you have 7.0.1, not 30.0 ,

https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/websites-say-firefox-outdated-or-incompatible

Reset the general.useragent. prefs as wxplained in that support article.
