I download a lot of images from a particular site that need to be rotated in Windows Photo Viewer. When they are downloaded, they are read only and does NOT allow me to rotate, so I have to go to the Downloads folder, right click, Properties, uncheck "read only".

I would like to be able to download the file and rotate without any additional actions.

Firefox has nothing to do with that. It could be an add-on, or another program.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web Link} by holding down the <Shift>
(Mac Options) key, and then starting Firefox. Is the problem still there?

Check the web site. Are the files being downloaded marked Read Only ?
