Hi Matt. The easiest way to provide a pic. of the problem is for me to send an email as the problem formatting appears at the end of any mail I send. Do you have an address which I can use to sent mail to. I use Avast which verifies the mail sent. Regards, Derrick

First make sure avast is setup not to add anything to the mail. Most particularly one of those advertising slogans about the mail being scanned by avast. As for an email address. There is one in my profile here.

Hi Matt et al, Thanks for the assistance and in the end, I experimented further with the settings and found that the "Plain Text" button enabled me to delete the formatting. Thought I had gone through all the permutations before I posted but obviously not. Thank you all again for suggestions. Nice to know there is friendly help out there when needed Derrick
