on win10 Firefox opening gmail drives disk util to 99%. Edge does not. Whats up?
I have HP laptop w/ Core i3 CPU. Windows 10 (current update). Using FF when I open my gmail account the disk utilization goes to 98-100 pct and stays there. When I use Edge, disk util peaks at 84 pct and then goes back down to 14%.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web Link} by holding down the <Shift>
(Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox. Is the problem still there?
While still in Safe Mode,
