Please help me to cope with the error message text encoding detection.

1. There is a letter, in which encoding is recognized as UNICODE correctly. http://symov.ucoz.ru/1/Errata.eml

2. On the screen I see an attempt to display the text in single-byte encoding. http://symov.ucoz.ru/1/Like_Unicode.png

3. Turn to any encoding, and then again returns UNICODE. As a result, the text is displayed correctly.

I see it displayed in Cyrillic using the Nightly build.

To diagnose problems with Thunderbird, try one of the following:

  • Restart Thunderbird with add-ons disabled (Thunderbird Safe Mode). On the Help menu, click on "Restart with Add-ons Disabled". If Thunderbird works like normal, there is an Add-on or Theme interfering with normal operations. You will need to re-enable add-ons one at a time until you locate the offender.
  • Try the other release builds in the early bird or beta channels. https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/channel/
