Thunderbird Search result gives empty listing after clicking email to read.

Often i use the CTRL-K Search bar to find some emails. This normally gives a new tab with the search results, see attachetd image TB search List. So the emails are found correctly.

But after clicking a search result to read this email, often only a new tab with empty list appears, so nothing can be read, see image Empty-list How to solve this?

Using TB version 45.2.0 but also same on previous versions.
