This occurred once last week. It began to work a few days later, and downloaded my emails. It then failed again this morning.

The RETR command did not succeed. Error retrieving a message. Mail server inbound.att.net responded: problem retrieving message.

How do I resolve this ? Others have posted this problem, too, with no resolution.

Some ATT customers using POP appear to suffer this issue frequently, not to say it is caused by ATT. Could you please have a look at this and this question and report back?
