I am using Thunderbird in Hungarian language for decades but it suddenly quit sending and receiving non-ascii characters.... Please, help!

Hi,

all my non-ascii characters are suddenly and seemingly without reason replaced with question marks. In OPTIONS I have always had UTF-8 I also tried to set INBOX and SENT ITEMS PROPERTIES to UTF-8, but to no avail. The same problem presents itself in Hebrew, although I have had no problems with that before either.

Thank you for responding... Yes, it is... A so called "small business" account... Actually, I have already solved the problem by going to Options, Advanced, Config and changing to mailnews.force to TRUE, but your answer would still be welcome - also to those having the same problem!
