Popup Blocker does not block certain sites. How can I block them?
Sites like https://1337x.to have a sneaky way to do pop ups even when pop ups are blocked. How do you block sites which manage open windows with certain tricks.

Maybe you'd like to check the values of some preferences on the "about:config" page :
Type in the address bar about:config and press Enter (promise to be careful, if asked)
Type in the search bar : popups
You'll see a number of preferences appear.
If you have to change anything, then close and restart Firefox, in order for the change to take effect.
