If I un- then re-install Thunderbird with its many separate Gmail addresses, will I lose the hundreds of folders and gazillions of messages?
I'm running Thunderbird 60.6.0 with Mac OS 10.13.6 (High Sierra) on a mid-2011 iMac. Let me know if the community needs to know more in order to help me out. Thanks!

Uninstalling TB doesn't affect the TB profile folder which contains all your mail, address books, calendars etc. But reinstalling the program seldom fixes problems, most of which are due to errors in the profile or caused by 3rd-party programs, e.g. security, password managers etc.
