I had to revert to a backup of Windows 10 after a failed upgrade to 1909. Thunderbird won't read my profile. Have tried a few things without luck.
There was an old profile in the profiles folder which works after I edited the profile.ini but I'm missing 4 years of saved emails. The last thing I did was to reinstall Thunderbird and copy my old Thunderbird directory to Appdata/Roaming.

No error messages but I managed to solve it by using a backup a few days previous to the one I used to restore windows and that worked.
I think maybe it had missing files or was corrupted in some way.
