Firefox take a long time to load!
Hello, Firefox takes more than 30 seconds to load. Thunderbird is also slow. I've had this problem before at the end of last year. After a while it got better. But now I have to wait again. I scanned windows with various anti-virus and anti-malware programs. I have absolutely nothing. I only use Microsoft anti-virus. I have run many repair options on the net. I have also uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox. This long wait to load before I can use the software is really irritating. Internet Explorer starts within 3 to 5 seconds including the display of the first page. Best regards Otto Haldi

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link}
A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?
Start your Computer in safe mode with network support. Then start Firefox. Try Secure websites. Is the problem still there?

Thanks for your help. I am using Windows 10 Pro. I already did this save mode many time, but that did not solve my problem. I used ccleaner, Glary Utilities, Malwarebytes, etc. Nothig is wrong, no problem, no virus... Firefox take about 30s to show me my start page. Internet Explorer take less then 3 s. Regards Otto
Firefox telemetry says that the median of the first paint time is 1.82s, but 9% of records is more than 10 seconds after startup.
Try to enter about:config in the URL bar and set browser.startup.preXulSkeletonUI = true, then restart the browser.
I dit it, but still take about 30s to be loaded!
It's really weird this problem of slow loading. I put Firefox in the autostart. It loads quickly. But when I load a page for the first time it waits again for about 30 seconds. It's like it's trying to do something. After that, for the following pages everything goes very fast. Also Thunderbird on its first loading takes a lot of time. With word, excel or other exe I have no problem. Only with Firefox and Thunderbird. In fact your products! Is there a tool to monitor an exe during its loading? Best regards Otto
I called for more help.
