I have no access to my e-mails now as i cannot appear to mke my password work, and have no way change it? No mail will go out or can be received. I just need to chnage my password but whatever i do nothing works?

You need to create/generate an app password for use with Thunderbird. See https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/account-billing/using-app-passwords-with-apps-that-don-t-support-two-step-verification-5896ed9b-4263-e681-128a-a6f2979a7944
