Dear support team, I accidently deleted about 2,000 emails in Thunderbird due to wrong storage settings. I corrected the settings and the mails are still in my Trash folder. My problem is that before deleting, those mails were sorted into various subfolders of the inbox folder. I find the options to move the mails back to the Inbox folder in general. However, I would like to restore those mails back to their original subfolders. As for most of those mails I don't know, which folder they originally belonged to and due to the amount of mails it is not possible to do this for each deleted mail at a time. Is there a possibility to restore those deleted emails directly to their original subfolders? The account in question uses IMAP, my PC is running on Linux Mint 20.1 Thanks a lot for your help and best wishes, Ecki

IMAP does not "remember" the last folder, nor does Thunderbird.
