When initiating email contact in a website upon clicking on contact box, untitled tabs start opening at top continuously, and can't stop unless I close windows.

What program do you have selected for "mailto"? http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Changing+the+e-mail+program+used+by+...

Check the Mailto application in Firefox > Preferences > Applications Make sure that it isn't set to the Firefox application.
