Flash will not install in 4.0b2 Firefox
On OS X 10.6.4 with Firefox 4.0b2 Minefield), I cannot access Flash content. Flash is not shown in about:plugins. I reinstalled it from Adobe, but it is still not there. I saw a blog saying that Flash would not be in 4.0. That is a disaster for many pages that I visit.

I did not work for me at the beginning. There might be different work-around for different platforms I use linux64 I did this
/usr/lib64/nspluginwrapper/npconfig -v -i /usr/lib/flash-plugin/libflashplayer.so
nsplusingwrapper is a wrapper for 32 to 64 bit plug ins that fixed everything for me
I windows try reinstalling flash-plugin that may help.
