i close firefox but when i try to restart it tells me alreadt running?
On occasions when I close firefox it seems to close but when I try to restart it tells me Firefox is already running?

You may need to wait a bit longer to make sure that Firefox has finished saving all data and cleanup everything.
You can check the Processes tab in the Windows Task Manager (Ctrl + Alt + Delete) to see how long it takes until the firefox.exe process disappears.
