I'm trying to download Firefox for Mobile from the Android Market to my Motorola Droid (original). The progress bar says "Starting download ...", and shows animation, but never shows any progress.

I have more than enough available space.

I have Fennec (nightly) installed. Would it help to uninstall it?

I just read the blurb in the Android Marketplace that notes that Motorola Droid is not currently supported. Well, boo hoo.

The first generation Droids don't have enough ram to run Firefox Mobile well. If we can optimize Firefox Mobile's performance to where running on a 1st gen Droid is a good experience we will remove the notice.
