I have used the 'bookmark all tabs' function in Firefox for several years. I just recently upgraded to FF 4.01 (I really like it BTW) but the bookmark all tabs menu item is missing. Please advise if there is another way to accomplish this function.

Thanks, RW

Right-click on a Tab, to see the Bookmark All Tabs... menu item.

Or use {Ctrl + Shft + D}.

Some menu entries are hidden if you use the mouse and only appear if you use the keyboard to open the menu (Bug 626825).

You can see the difference if you use Alt+F or Alt+B to open the "File" and "Bookmarks" menu and compare that to what you see if you use the mouse to open the menu after you have made the menu bar visible by tapping Alt or by pressing F10.

  • "Bookmark All Tabs" (Shift+Ctrl+D) no longer shows in the Bookmarks menu unless you open the Bookmarks menu via the keyboard (Alt + B).
  • "Bookmark This Page" can be accessed via the right-click context menu of that browser page.
  • "Bookmark All Tabs" can be accessed via the right-click context menu of a tab on the tab bar.

Many thanks the-edmeister and cor-el ... I would have never found the link on my own as I have never right clicked on a tab in previous versions of Firefox. It makes me wonder what other features are 'hidden' in FF4.0.

Thanks again, RW
