While trying to install Firefox 4.x, I get a message about 'Trend Micro NSC Firefox Extension' not being compatible. I downloaded and installed their hotfix (Ti_31_win_en_ToolBar31_hfb1163.exe) that is supposed to resolve this issue. What gives?

If that patch is made for Firefox 4.x, maybe it's not compatible with Firefox 3.6.17??
Best to ask Trend Micro support about their patch.
I installed 4.0 and was told my AV add-on was not compatible. Went back to 3.6. Trend micro had a hot-fix to fix issue. I ran it and tried to upgrade to 4.x. I got the same message about being incompatible. Trend Micro add-on still works with 3.6 with no problem.
You may need to install that patch while you have Firefox 4 installed.
