I downloaded Firefox 6.0.1 this past week. Immediately afterwards, when opening up Facebook, the Homepage and Profile page has reduced from 3 columns,(left:personal infor, friends, games etc, middle: news feed, right: adverts) now comes up with 3 columns, but the left column(games, etc) is now the top half of column 2, with the news feed below. It is difficult to get to feed, and annoying. I have cleared caches, history, resized, reset page, etc as you suggested. I looked into facebook using my google and internet explorer, and all is as normal. Can you help me on this annoyance please? thank you, Dawn

If you have increased the minimum font size then try the default setting "none" as a high value can cause issues like you described.

  • Tools > Options > Content : Fonts & Colors > Advanced > Minimum Font Size (none)
  • Tools > Options > Content : Fonts & Colors > Advanced > [X] "Allow pages to choose their own fonts, instead of my selections above"

You can use an extension to set a default font size and page zoom on web pages:
