Can load Google, but 'Unable to Connect' to any other site

I am using Firefox 10.0.2 with Mac OS 10.5.8. Recently updated Firefox. Now loads to Google as default page as before, but receive the following: 'Unable to Connect', 'Firefox can't establish a connection to the server at ...'. This is true for all sites.

Hi alwarner,

You might want to take a look at Fix problems connecting to websites after updating Firefox and Firefox can't load websites but other browsers can if you can open the sites in IE.

You might want to take a look at Fix problems connecting to websites after updating Firefox and Firefox can't load websites but other browsers can if you can open the sites in IE.

Thanks Matt. I tried and tried following the steps with no success, and ultimately switched browsers. Thanks for your help.
