Switches unwanted to full-screen
Quite often when I start typing in the Location bar or Search bar a drop down menu opens (for example File) and the Firefox window changes to full-screen mode. What's the reason for this annoying behaviour and – what is more important to me – how can it be fixed?

Thanks. I know how to toggle using F11 (=wanted toggle). My problem is the unwanted toggle and focus switch.
See if this happen in Safe-mode , if this is not happen then disable all extensions and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one at a time until the problem reappears.
Use "Disable all add-ons" on the Safe Mode start window to disable all extensions.
