Firefox crashing despite creation of new profile
Firefox crashes multiple times hourly as I am working / browsing. Have tried to review other solutions already posted, including updating / disabling add-ons, reinstalling firefox, and creating a new session, followed by new profile. Seems to occur more frequently with google websites - have removed that as my homepage, but when playing pandora, it definitely goes down, as well as when using google maps. There appear to be random times on other sites where it will crash as well. I have submitted a number of crash reports, but it doesn't give me the opportunity each time - will frequently just close without giving me the crash dialogue. Help! Thanks!

Do a malware check with some malware scanning programs on the Windows computer.
You need to scan with all programs because each program detects different malware.
Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before doing a scan.

You can also do a check for a rootkit infection with TDSSKiller.

Hi Abhi,
can you try turning off hardware acceleration? It might be that a faulty graphics driver is causing the issues. Here is how: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-extensions-themes-to-fix-problems#w_turn-off-hardware-acceleration
Thanks Kadir - I tried turning it off and it seemed stable for a couple of minutes. Then, when going into and manipulating google maps or opening another website, crashed twice again....
Ah, okay. Were you able to send a crash report by any chance?
Yes - a crash report was submitted. Here is the ID: bp-7a3caae8-c193-444f-8a94-6d2c72121005 Thanks

Thanks so much! Painful to go through each of those, but things humming along now!
