I open the application and it comes up just fine, but my computer is technically not showing that the application is open. I have a Mac, so the icon in the dock doesn't have the glowing circle underneath it that shows the program is open, and the bar at the top of my screen (where Finder is and where I could mess with setting specific to Firefox) isn't showing Firefox either.
